STRESS MANAGEMENT AND BURN-OUT AVOIDANCE

The health and well-being of employees is one of the most sensitive issues of our time. Controlling employee stress management is one of the major elements in preventing absenteeism, burn-out and even interpersonal conflicts.

According to the WHO, good health is no longer just the absence of illness but a general state of physical, mental and social well-being.

This perfectly laic meditative practice contributes to enriching the way each person looks at his or her daily life and at work.

A regular training of mindfulness changes agitation and stress into calm and serenity, obsession into contentment, hatred and anger into benevolence.

For several years now mindfulness has been the subject of an increasing number of scientific studies.

THE STRESS REDUCTION PROGRAM

BY MINDFULNESS MBSR

MINDFULNESS MEDITATION IS MUCH MORE THAN A TREND IT IS A WAY OF LIFE THAT CAN STRONGLY INFLUENCE THE EVOLUTION OF OUR LIVES

More than 40 years ago, the ancestral practice of meditation met the neurosciences. Far from remaining only in the field of scientific studies, thousands of people around the world have been able to experience the benefits of the MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) program.

This program takes place over 8 weeks, with the same group.

It consists of 8 weekly sessions (2h30 except the first and last one which are 3 hours) and a practical integration day (7 hours) and an information and induction session (1h30).

The information session is part of the program, it can be replaced by an individual interview with the instructor.

This MBSR program requires a commitment between sessions from the participant

WHERE DOES MINDFULNESS COME FROM?

In 1979, Jon Kabat-Zinn, a doctor in molecular biology with a degree from MIT in the United States, himself a practitioner of yoga and meditation, had the intuition to adapt these practices to the hospital context where stress is very present, both in patients and caregivers, by proposing a precise protocol.

This is the origin of the educational and preventive program called MBSR (Mindfulness, Based Stress Reduction). Based Stress Reduction at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine.

Practiced in a laic context, programs based on Mindfulness were born from the encounter between two worlds of knowledge:

ONLINE INFORMATION AND PRACTICE SESSIONS

We give free information and practice sessions on Mindfulness Meditation (Mindfulness Meditation) in order to meet you, to share with you what Mindfulness is and what it is not, to inform you about the state of research in neuroscience on this subject, to know the origins and effectiveness of the MBSR program on chronic pain, stress, burn-out prevention, the power of interiority to live life intensely.

This is an opportunity to meet the instructor Catherine Gillet, ask her questions and decide together if this program is right for you.

To register, please fill out the form below, specifying “information session” and the date of your participation.

INDIVIDUAL MINDFULNESS

The MBSR course is designed to be given in groups to develop interdependence and collective intelligence.

However, it is possible for people who need flexibility in their agenda, to train to mindfulness through individual coaching, by videoconference or face-to-face.

SELF-COMPASSION

Our culture and our education have not taught us to take care of what hurts us. To understand and welcome our emotions, some thoughts, and to be satisfied with who we are. On the opposite, we constantly compare ourselves to others. We judge ourselves harshly.

With the help of practical exercises from psychological research, it is possible to learn to treat ourselves with kindness and make peace with our best enemy: ourselves.
